14-Day Forecast:

This view provides a quick snapshot of the next 14 days. We call it the "who cares" forecast as you can get this from any number of sites. These forecasts are updated daily using traditional weather forecasting techniques. But what comes after this is what you cant get anywhere else and thats year-ahead DAILY forecasts across the globe! Weather Console:

Same information as Weather Calendar but now you can see how different the weather will be compared to last year at the same time. The bars in the chart show how the weather compares to last year while the line is the actual forecast for a particular location. The data table shows specific max temps, min temps, weekly rainfall and snowfall. These views tend to be more useful for business applications. If July 4th is forecast to be much colder and wetter than last year, businesses would expect to sell fewer Summer seasonal categories. Click here




Favorability Planner:

The Favorability Planner shows temperature and precipitation history back to 1992 and forecasts a year ahead by any geographical aggregation from cities to regions to countries and even a world summary as well as client specific hierarchies like DCs, Merchandise Zones, Advertising Regions, Climate Zones, etc. This feature allows a user to see multiple geographies across any selected timeframe. 35-days can be shown at a time and or 35 weeks. Once custom regions are selected they can be saved for future reference with data easily exported to Excel for integration into your existing planning systems. Need to identify the hottest weekend in April next year, this tool can quickly make that assessment for you. Metrics include Max, Min, Avg Temp and differences vs a year ago along with Precipitation. Now were talking! A year-ahead forecast for 42,000 US zip codes, 4,000 global cities in 129 countries. The summary section provides a quick snapshot of the month and how its different than last year. This demo will provide unlimited access to Fargo, ND forecasts. Time Period/Holiday Ranking Tool:

The time assessor tool helps to put the forecast into perspective relative to the past 15 years. Any custom timeframe or geography from city to region, to country to world can be assessed. In the example below the forecast for the Northeast shows the hottest July 4th holiday weekend in 5 years. In some areas it will be the hottest in 14 years.
